In the beautiful Flower City, Guangzhou, there exists a place to help young children to realize the artistic dream and hope in a well-known middle art school, which is honored as golden cradle of art training - - Guangzhou Dandan Art Training School.

     The training school was founded in 1994, authorized and approved to be registered by Guangzhou Bureau of Education. The famous ballet performing artist, head of Guangzhou Ballet Troupe, principal of Guangzhou Art school, president of Guangzhou Dancer Association - - Ms. Zhang Dandan is the principal of the School.

     For 15 years, under the tremendous support from Guangzhou Bureau of Education, Bureau of Civil Affairs of Guangzhou Municipality, Guangzhou Culture Administration and all levels' concern, and direct instruction from Principal Zhang Dandan, the School has acquired resplendent achievement and vigorous development, after years of hard struggle of difficult school building, unremitting exploration and sustaining innovation. Till now, the School has three main majors, Dance, Fine Arts and Piano, 22 classes, more than 500 students and 19 knowledge faculties. The usable area of our training base is more than 5000 square meters, and has became one of the most excellent art training base outside school in Guangzhou. In Aug. 2008, two branches of Dandan Art Training School in Guihuagang and Luogang has been set up separately.

     These years, we have been keeping performing “to edify children by art, to enlighten the children by nicety, to educate children by joy and to nurture children by self-confidence” philosophy and persisting “popularization and improvement” education principle. Still as the school principle, we have organized the student to attend all levels of competition, the large-scale performance and visiting and learning activities, such as, the global Chinese people celebrate the birthday of the cast god (young people signature activity), “China in my heart” China (Hong Kong) the fourth session of international young people music dance competition, “to enter the red ocher wall” - - the child art groups education in revolutionary tradition activity, “love my China” the Chinese international young people music dance competition and so on. We have made substantial progress and brilliant achievements. Among these, the dance "Small Puppet" and "Flies, Pigeon" won the first and the second prizes separately in “China in my heart” China (Hong Kong) the fourth session of international young people music dance competition. And the School simultaneously won the outstanding organization prize.

     15 years has past, many students graduated for better future and lots of new comers enter our School. We believe that it is important for a trainee student to have excellent training from the very beginning. Correct technique is essential for a young dancer to mature into an artist of professional quality. In our school, we are offering a variety of dance and movement classes with the help of a talented, diverse and inspired faculty. Base on our excellent training, some of them have been enrolled by Guangzhou Art School, Guangdong Province Dancing school and other specialized art groups and the colleges and universities.

     Now Guangzhou Dandan Art Training School is the most versatile school in Guangzhou and we are hoping to foster more talented students to contribute for the future of our country.
